Easter ~ is it a global holiday?

Easter is almost here. Do you celebrate Easter in your country? Do you celebrate Easter at your school? Do you celebrate Easter with your family? There are many and varied Easter traditions around the world. Where I live the Royal Easter Show in Sydney is a big event especially for children and families at Easter time. Easter is my second favourite holiday(Christmas is first).This Easter i woke up early that morning and started my hunt for Easter eggs i found 30 eggs that day. Lucky mum was holding Crystal my puppy dog (3 years old) so she did’nt eat any eggs. I like it because dad gets holiday on the big holidays (he owns a business) that was my great Easter this year.

I had a great easter and had lots of fun. I normally celebrate easter with family or at home. This year I was at my Nanas house with all my family and close friends. When we are at Nanas house we play a game together were she boils eggs and we each get one we have to try crack everyones eggs and make sure ours doesnt get a crack in it or brake.We hold the eggs in our palm were we can hardly see them and bang the eggs together to try brake it. My cousin and I tricked everyone last year because we bought eggs to Nanas house that were rock solid pretand ones and couldnt crack at all. We won!! Also this year we didnt get to go to the easter show but maybey next time

I love easter because it the time to celebrate something like the easter bunny and exchange easter eggs .But most of all it is the time to spend a happy time with most of your family if not some all.This easter i didn’t spend it with most because my uncle was in hospital and my mum was at work.Who did you spend it with?
For easter our family celebrates it all together and me and my cousins have lots of fun Eating all our eggs.

I love Easter. My family celebrates easter at home. My church also has a special service for easter and good friday.
On Easter morning my family and I read the bible and exchange Easter eggs.

Easter is very important in each year, to me and my family Easter is all about the empty tomb where Jesus rose and the cross where Jesus died. Each Easter I always think about what Jesus did for us and how he rose again. I LOVE EASTER!

Easter is very important to me and my family. To us, the empty tomb and the cross are the two things that show what easter means to us. On good Friday and easter Sunday, my family goes to church to celebrate the death and resurrection. I hope everyone in the world had an amazingly excellent and happy Easter! Happy Easter!
I absolutely love Easter. For me and my family, Easter is all about Jesus dying on the cross and being crucified (which is a very painful way of dying used to kill criminals, though Jesus was not one, but was being accused of being one). The way that Pilote killed Jesus, was not very nice, but was extremely gruesome. They stuck nails through his fingers and feet, they broke his knees using a big mallet and so much more that I really shouldn’t mention! But Easter is not a celebration of death but a celebration of life, and eternal life in heaven. And if we believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit then we are allowed into God’s kingdom with him forever after we have died! And that is the real meaning of Easter for me and my family.
